With the success of his role as Tony in the 50th Aniversary Production of West Side Story at Le Chatelet in Paris David was offered the role of Stathis Borans, the tenor role in the world premier of Howard Shores first opera "The Fly". The production team included David Cronenberg as the director and Placido Domingo Conducting.
